Omex Global Launches ‘Crusader Movement’ for Greater Awgu Liberation 2027 Omex Global has officially launched the Crusader Movement for Greater Awgu Liberation 2027, a political mobilisation initiative aimed at galvanising support across Aninri, Awgu and Oji River Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking during the launch, Omex Global described the initiative as a movement “of the people, by the people and for the people,” saying it would seek to address what it described as longstanding challenges of representation, development and youth empowerment in the constituency. According to the statement, the movement’s agenda includes rescuing Greater Awgu from what it described as “bad representation,” promoting inclusive leadership and development projects, restoring the constituency’s voice at the National Assembly and expanding empowerment opportunities for youths and women irrespective of political affiliation. Omex Global called on youths, women, elders, traders and other residents across Aninri, Awgu and Oji River to join the movement, stressing that the initiative was focused on mobilising citizens around its proposed vision for the constituency. The group also declared its intention to support Omex Global of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 election. The launch marks the beginning of what the organisers described as a broader grassroots mobilisation campaign across the three local government areas that make up the Federal Constituency.**
